Mini – Mid Facelift

Conveniently located to serve San Antonio and surrounding communities.

What is a Mini – Mid Face Lift?

Mini – Mid Face lift is a general term used to describe a set of operations intended to lift sagging skin around the neck, jowls, cheeks and below the eyelids.

It is often combined with eyelid surgery for a “Full Facelift”. A “mini” lift is a facelift that does not involve the lower eyelids. This can decrease your downtime significantly because the eyes are what give away a facelift. We have seen many people go back to work after their mini- facelift within 4-5 days. Results obviously vary with each patient and their wishes. Dr. Jeneby performs the MACS-lift (minimal access cranial suspension) which can be done under local with oral or IV sedation or under general anesthesia. A facelift may be combined with a temporal lift and upper lid skin lift to provide “The Works”. A total face rejuvenation of the upper and lower face with all the areas taken care of. Dr. Jeneby can advise you on all these options when you come in!

In time, gravity, sun exposure, and the stresses of daily life take their toll on our faces: deep creases appear beside the mouth, the jaw line slackens, and folds and fat deposits appear on the neck. Facelifts counteract these problems by removing fat and tightening skin and muscles, giving your face a fresher, more youthful look. After surgery, some patients appear 10-15 years younger.

A facelift can be combined with a brow lift, eyelid surgery or nose reshaping for more dramatic results, or it can be restricted to the neck (necklift) if the patient’s problems center there. Incisions are made in inconspicuous places such as behind the hairline and in natural folds of the face and ears, and scars fade to near invisibility in time. Results of a facelift do not last forever, but in another sense, the effects are permanent; years later, your face will continue to look better than if you had never had the procedure.

A mini facelift is a less invasive and more affordable option than a traditional facelift, making it a popular choice for people looking to address early signs of aging in the lower face and neck. The cost of a mini facelift can vary depending on several factors, including the surgeon’s experience, geographic location, and the extent of the surgery. However, it generally falls between $3,500 and $10,000.

Here are some of the factors that can affect the cost of a mini facelift:

  • Surgeon’s experience: More experienced surgeons often charge higher fees.
  • Geographic location: Costs tend to be higher in major metropolitan areas.
  • Extent of the surgery: More complex procedures with additional incisions or techniques will typically cost more.
  • Anesthesia fees: The type of anesthesia used will also impact the overall cost.
  • Facility fees: The cost of using the operating room and other facilities will be included in the final bill.

It’s important to remember that the cost of a mini facelift is an investment in your appearance and self-confidence. While the upfront cost may seem significant, the results can be long-lasting and significantly improve your overall look and feel.

Before making a decision, it’s crucial to do your research and consult with several board-certified plastic surgeons to discuss your options and get personalized quotes. This will allow you to compare prices and find a surgeon who meets your needs and budget.

Here are some things to ask a potential surgeon during your consultation:

  • What are your qualifications and experience with mini facelifts?
  • What is your approach to the procedure?
  • What are the expected results?
  • What are the risks and complications associated with mini facelifts?
  • What is the total cost of the procedure, including all associated fees?

By carefully considering all of these factors, you can make an informed decision about whether or not a mini facelift is right for you and find the best surgeon to perform the procedure.
