His father was an obstetrician-gynecologist, and his mother held a Ph.D in Organ Transplant and helped found one of the early labs in the country to match organs to donors. Doctor to offer reconstructive surgery to domestic violence victims

“San Antonio plastic surgeon Thomas Jeneby has begun working with Family Violence Prevention Services Inc. to offer free reconstructive surgery to battered women.
Each month, Dr. Jeneby donates funding and surgical expertise to help five women with reconstructive surgery. Jeneby (www.drjenebyplasticsurgery.com) is a board certified plastic and cosmetic surgeon.
“We’re dealing with scalp injuries, lacerations to the mouth, breast reconstruction, facial features,” Jeneby says. “Often times, horrific injuries are the visual effect left on the abused after withstanding horrific abuse. But restoration is something domestic abuse survivors can look forward to.”
