Plastic surgeons commonly perform surgeries on patients up into their mid-80s as long as they passed the necessary health screenings. The feasibility of the surgery will depend on a number of elements of the patient and their body type, so it is best to first be consulted by the surgeon. It is something we require of each of our patients to make sure they are selecting a surgery that will help them most and not picking one that is not what is in their best interest and may be a money waster.
It is important to keep expectations in check. While it may be feasible to look twenty years younger, it is not entirely possible for a facelift to make a patient look thirty again.
Aging gracefully is always an option. But if a facelift or other wrinkle-reduction surgery will make you happier and more self-confident. Age should not stand in your way.
