I enjoy eating bagels, especially from Einstein’s Bagels. A current trend going on in Tokyo is known as ‘Bagel Head,’ it is a beauty modification where saline is injected into the forehead giving the appearance of a mini-bagel inside your head.
Why this is a trend you ask? Well, your guess is as good as mine! This procedure takes about two hours and only lasts about a day because the body can safely absorb normal saline solution. Be careful though, because if the solution isn’t sterile it can cause infections.
What if people do it repeatedly though? Well, there is a chance it can stretch out the skin and lose elasticity. So if you are thinking about becoming a bagel head, I suggest you do some more research into it and see if having a bagel in your head for a day or two is really worth it.
