While it is typically a procedure known for women, Botox is gaining popularity across the board. An increased number of men are beginning to get Botox, what has now amiably been named as, “Brotox.” The Brotox era is underway, and according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, in the past ten years the percentage of men who have received Botox has risen to 258 percent. Today, we live in a society where appearance is of the essence, and everyone wants to look good, including men.
Of course, men don’t get Botox as often as most women, and they tend to get it for different reasons than women. Women get Botox to look younger and tighten the skin. On the other hand, often times men usually receive Botox in order to look less angry in appearance. Most men receive two vertical lines in between their forehead causing them to look angry or confused and this is what bothers them the most.
If Botox is something you’ve been considering, don’t be ashamed to grab your bro and head on over for a hearty injection of Brotox.
