Plastic Surgeon vs "Cosmetic Surgeon"

There are other types of "cosmetic surgeons" in the area (some are not even "surgery" trained- real surgeons are trained by real residencies.  ) or have cosmetic "spas".  It is important to realize that some spas in the area have medical directors that are not board certified plastic surgeons.  Claiming that they are is fraud. Check to see  at www.plasticsurgery.org or www.abplsurg.org

 They cannot operate at their  local hospitals for the same procedure they are performing on you (liposuction for example.) Ask them how they learned how to do liposuction, breast augmentation or any procedure!   They should be trained by an appropriate residency training body that re-certifies them every 10 years and is peer reviewed (Plastic Surgeons are.)   

People who have cosmetic spas/medical spas may not have these qualifications. Please ask them if they have privileges to do these procedures at their local hospitals which are reviewed by fellow doctors.  Just because they have a surgery suite in their office does not make them peer reviewed at a local hospital.

Ask them those  questions!

If they do not have privileges at these local hospitals (which are MD peer reviewed) then they cannot be "certified" to do your procedure.  Do not get confused or skimp on true quality - its your body we are talking about. Dr Jeneby is highly trained to perform (safely) multiple procedures on all parts of the body from simple to complex. (Dr Jeneby performs surgeries that are 9 hours long sometimes!) 

Dr Jeneby is a National Trainer for SmartXide and Smart Lipo in South Texas : San Antonio & Austin.  He was the first  Plastic Surgeons take delivery of both Smart Lipo and SmartXide and now "Tickle Lipo" and has been performing these longer than anyone else in South Texas (Eclipse Medical confirmed statistics. 

The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery is not a true board of The American Board of Medical Specialties-PLASTIC SURGERY is a recognized by ABMS (1 out of 41 boards).  The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons is also not a recognized board by The American Board of Medical Specialties.   Be careful when you visit these practitioners who call themselves "surgeons". Some are not trained by an appropriate residency and therefore are making false claims.  These "cosmetic doctors" have not been through the comprehensive residency Dr Jeneby has completed (6 years General surgery and Plastic Surgery)  and 2 Years after that  (8 Years) to become a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in order to provide you with the safest, and most skilled hands.

Adjustable Breast Implants

Dr Jeneby has made national news with adjustable breast implants.  Click below to see why adjustable breast implants are for you!  Dr Jeneby places Adjustable Breast Implants and  Smart Lipo (The FIRST  to use this in San Antonio) has been featured on Fox(KABB), CBS(KENS) and ABC(KSAT) for his work with Adjustable Breast Implants, and Injectable Fillers for facial wrinkles. His work on  Mentor Adjustable Breast  Implants has landed him national exposure as well. He is one of only 30 sites  in the country picked by Mentor to trial the adjustable Becker 50%gel / 50% saline implant expander for Breast Reconstruction (1 stage placement.) This exciting technology allows the patient to increase or decrease the size of the implant at 3- 6 months post op.  The Port is removed in the office  (under local)  after 6 months and is temporary. 

The process requires the patient to return at three months where a small needle is inserted through the skin and the implant is filled while you are awake to the desired amount.  Prior to six months, the port is removed through the same incision under local anesthesia in the office. It is estimated that 37% of all returns to the OR are for implant size problems ("I wish I had gotten them bigger") Do not be a statistic! He has performed over 250 of these and has performed the most of these types of implants in Central Texas. Buttocks Implant

Buttocks Implants are a relatively new phenomenon. This procedure has been popular in South America for several years but has been getting more popular in the U.S.  Dr Jeneby has been performing this operation for several  years and uses a soft, silicone implant to provide volume for an otherwise depleted buttocks area.
